Now this video takes me back. My first real spring in nyc. Still living in my van and first studio. I had only rented the studio like 3 months prior. I really miss this aspect of having the van. just being able to take trips on a moments notice. knowing that everything I need is inside and ready to go. enjoying the diary aspect of this video. heavy john wilson inspiration. @1:27 re doing something important: I think this is the first time i felt that kind of inner importance and value of making art. of expressing myself. strong stuff, I continue to work on trusting that feeling and executing in the face of fear. 

Surfing in nice weather is a treat of all treats. Springtime awaits. 

The camera quality really draws you in. Dealing with minidv tapes is such a pain in the ass, but man the video quality is romantic. Watching this video makes me wanna bring the elura 40mc back out again. I wonder how much a tapeless setup would cost on the cheap.
